Humourous Register article on satellite photographs of military establishments
The Register as a humourous and interesting
article using Google's satellite images for views of sensitive military establishments. It features lovely pictures of airforce bases and evesdropping stations. The article is a follow-on from their
first article.
My particular favourite is their A-10 Warthog pictures Pick a cold war aircraft and see if you can spot it at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base near Tucson.
This reminds me of the fun I had using multimap to look up satellite images of listening stations in the UK, back in June 2002.
