List of free things
Links to freebies on the web. I am no longer a big fan of trying to find
freebies on the web. The days of
dotcom giveaways are fast receding, but there are still a few offers in place.
Free money from betting companies
Online betting companies are trying to entice people to bet for the first
time. They often offer deals for people's first bets, e.g. additional
bets when you first sign up or cashback if you lose. Take advantage of
these free bets by teaming up with a friend and betting against each other
on a single event (with approximately even odds), so that if one loses, the
other wins.
- Victorchandler.com is
currently (March 2002) offering 50% cashback on bets (up to £50
cashback).
- Willhill.com
has in the past offered up to £25 cashback on your first bet ("great '50% cashback'
offer").

Ladbrokes.com no longer seem to be running any promotions.
- Bet365 - large, UK based betting company.
- Betfair.com
- large, person-to-person betting site (but does this make any
difference?).
- Coral's Eurobet is another
betting company benefiting from the relaxation of betting taxes in the
UK.
